Chefchauen

I spent a month traveling in Morocco. One of the cities I visited was Chefchauen, known for buildings washed in blue paint and the number of cats lolling about the streets. I spent an entire day sketching various scenes in the town attacting the attention of school children and old men hanging about in the square. While we did not share langage beyond "hello" they appreciated the love I showed in my sketches for their home city.  Chefchuaen is an artist's dream with its twisting streets washed in blue pigment. One 0f the highlights was sharing tea in the studio of a local artist during the afternoon. Another was an old man warning me by pointing to his eye to indicate to beware of a local con working the tourists.
